The job fair will take place for two consecutive days starting next Friday (Mar 15).
The event aims to bring together around 200 companies, including government entities, public organizations, and businesses of all sizes, to offer job opportunities. It will also feature 100 physical booths, more than 100 forums, recruitment talks, and resume consultations to share the latest developments and industry information on the tech job market.
According to Ricky Choi Wai-kit, the senior manager and lead of Cyberport's Smart Living Cluster, the fair will continue to be conducted both online and in person.
For the first time at the job fair, Cyberport will provide a one-stop job-seeking service, offering one-on-one consultation services. Through AI technology, the resumes of the job seekers will be analyzed, simulated interviews will be conducted, and job matching will be carried out based on their profiles.
The founder of a financial engineering research company, who participated in the fair last year, stated that they have received dozens of resumes up till now as the job fair has increased students' understanding of their company, boosting confidence in their organization.
Another individual who successfully found a job through the fair last year expressed that the fair has broadened his horizons and taught him how to write resumes.
