Miami, March 01, 2024, SPA -- Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer recently participated in the Global Metals, Mining, and Critical Minerals Conference held in Miami, USA.
During the second day of the conference, Al-Mudaifer met with several heads and officials of international companies to discuss the prospects of cooperation in the mining sector.
The vice minister held bilateral talks with the CEOs of Anglo American, Rio Tinto, Fortescue, First Quantum Minerals, as well as with executives from Ninety One.
The meetings revolved around ways and prospects of cooperation in the mining sector, along with specific investment opportunities offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Kingdom aims to optimally exploit its abundant natural resources and transform into a global center for producing and manufacturing metals.
The meetings reviewed the many advantages of the investment environment in the Kingdom, including advanced infrastructure, investment incentives, and streamlined procedures for establishing investment activities.
